NCIA opens call for interns 2026

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) has officially opened applications for its annual Internship Programme, offering over 60 roles available across multiple locations.

Interns can explore opportunities across fields ranging from cyber security and satellite communications to project management and human resources, based at NCIA’s campuses in Belgium, Portugal and the Netherlands. Each internship lasts six months, giving participants the chance to make a tangible impact by supporting NCIA’s capability delivery and contributing to NATO’s mission.

At NCIA, interns work alongside experienced colleagues and take on meaningful tasks and responsibilities across a wide range of projects and portfolios. As NATO’s tech and cyber hub, NCIA offers valuable insight into innovative technologies and tools, opportunities for networking and collaboration, and the chance to build skills which last a lifetime. An internship at NCIA can be the first step in a long-term career at NATO, as high performing interns at NCIA may be considered for further opportunities through NCIA’s Internship Temporary Personnel programme.
