NATO Infrastructure Services Centre


The NATO Infrastructure Services Centre (NISC) provides fundamental Information Technology services to NATO and Nations.

We are responsible for all static NATO networks communication services and for delivering static and deployable infrastructure and platform services and expertise to the Alliance.

Our IT services range from network transmission, infrastructure storage and processing to collaboration hosting and enterprise configuration and asset management.

To support the provision of these services, we provide generic, domain independent, technical functionality that enables and facilitates the operation and use of Information Technology resources.

Served by a talented and diverse workforce with interdisciplinary background, we are fully engaged in supporting and enforcing NATO values.

Our portfolio covers the following service groupings:

Network as a Service (NaaS)

  • We serve all of NATO's static network services including network transmission, Wide Area Network and Local Area Network.

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)

  • We support all of NATO's datacentres services including hosting, backup and restoring servers.

Platform as a Service (PaaS)

  • We support the complete application lifecycle of NATO applications including service-oriented architecture platforms, active directory, databases and web-hosting.

Innovation, Deployable & Engineering (ID&E)

  • We provide complete deployable Information Technology services for NATO exercises and missions.

Enterprise Configuration & Asset Management (ECAM):

  • We cover software and asset management for NATO ensuring all of the capabilities are fit for purpose.

Communication Information Systems Security (CISS)

  • We ensure security by design on all of our service groupings.
