As the Senior Advisory Body to the North Atlantic Council on the management of common-funded NATO resources, the RPPB has responsibility for the overall management of NATO’s civil and military budgets. The visit thus provided NCIA with the opportunity to showcase its evolving identity and operational relevance, and to demonstrate its readiness to support NATO's strengthened collective defence.

NCIA General Manager Ludwig Decamps began the visit by openly presenting NCIA’s challenges and strategic responses, in order to engage the RPPB in active dialogue to build mutual understanding on opportunities and challenges as NCIA adapts for the future.
Participants learned about NCIA’s evolving delivery practices in Cloud Adoption and added value in connecting national platforms through NCIA’s Air Command and Control capabilities. NCIA also highlighted achievements in the deployment of the Demeter Land C2 Software and Maven Smart System, displaying NCIA’s success in leveraging industry solutions to deploy new capabilities in record time.
Ahead of the next joint meeting between the RPPB and the Agency's Supervisory Board (ASB) in October 2025, the visit also addressed NCIA’s overall transformation trajectory and the support needed from the Boards. NCIA General Manager set the scene at the roundtable, followed by discussions facilitated by NCIA Chief Operating Officer, Chief of Acquisition and Chief Information Officer, on the key areas of focus of corporate planning, acquisition reform, and outsourcing.
RPPB’s visit to The Hague presented a rare and valuable opportunity for NCIA to meaningfully shape the perceptions and understandings of influential stakeholders, to be able to accelerate its transformation journey and more effectively support NATO’s mission.
