The MDS project introduces enhanced obsolescence management through a new web-based asset management system, allowing devices to be actively monitored and replaced before reaching end of life. The service ensures users receive replacement devices quickly, delivered directly to their location with minimal downtime.
Additionally, the MDS project adopts a multi-brand hardware strategy, strengthening supply chain resiliency and reducing dependency on one vendor where possible. The new model enables hardware to be scaled quickly in response to shifting demand, supporting the NATO Enterprise readiness and service continuity.
