NCIA participates in Cybersec Europe 2025


On 21 and 22 May 2025, the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) participated in the Cybersec Europe 2025 conference, in Brussels, Belgium.


Cybersec Europe provides a dynamic platform that unites cyber security experts and next generation start-ups to share knowledge with peers, in order to jointly face cyber security challenges. The event features a variety of workshops, talk shows and webinars with experts from the public and private sector to discuss the latest solutions and innovations in topics such as data science, cloud and artificial intelligence.

NCIA participates in Cybersec Europe 2025

As NATO’s cyber and technology hub, the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) contributed to the agenda across a spectrum of cyber related topics. NCIA’s Chief of NATO Cyber Security Centre, Luc Dandurand, participated in a panel which discussed how NATO is adapting its cyber defence posture to remain agile, resilient and interoperable in the face of sophisticated and persistent cyber threats. NCIA Chief Digital Innovation and Technology, Luz Fernandez, presented NCIA’s Technology Strategy and introduced the NATO Digital Foundry during the event.

“We're not just building systems. We're building trust, resilience, and peace and we need to do it together,” underscored Luz Fernandez during her presentation.

Supporting NATO’s digital transformation agenda and cyber security foundations remains at the forefront of NCIA’s mission. Industry events such as Cybersec Europe provide the chance for NCIA to engage with new industry leaders, strengthen partnerships and bring offer new collaborative solutions to the Alliance. NCIA’s Acquisition Team and Head of Industry Relations, Arsen Fazlovic were also present to engage with industry representatives and explain how to do business with NCIA.
