“The world is moving at the speed of technology, not the speed of bureaucracy. If we do not sharpen our digital edge, we risk being left behind,” explained NCIA General Manager Ludwig Decamps. “We must ensure that industry is ready to step in and deliver at scale when crises arise”.
The agenda also included a briefing from Chief of Acquisition, Marianne Roth, who presented the procurement process for industry collaboration, and a presentation by Chief of Digital Innovation and Technology, Luz Fernandez about NCIA’s Technology Strategy and Digital Foundry.
As part of the Turkish Industry Day, NCIA signed a contract with ASELSAN to upgrade very low frequency air monitoring equipment for Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM). The upgraded hardware solution will enhance MARCOM maritime situational awareness.
“We are excited to sign our first contract with ASELSAN, a key step in upgrading our maritime monitoring equipment and ensuring continued readiness," stated Marianne Roth, NCIA Chief of Acquisition. "This collaboration with industry underscores our commitment to leveraging advanced technology in support of key NATO priorities.”
Looking ahead, NCIA will continue strengthening partnerships with Turkish industries and with industries from across the Alliance at NATO Edge 26. Hosted in
