The programme opened with remarks by H.E. Mr. Federico Torres Muro, Spanish Permanent Representative to NATO, and Admiral José María Núñez Torrente, Spanish Military Representative to NATO. Both highlighted Spain’s longstanding commitment to the Alliance and emphasized the importance of collaboration with industry in driving forward NATO’s digital transformation. These were followed by an address by NCIA General Manager, Ludwig Decamps, who emphasized the critical role of industry collaboration in delivering NATO’s digital transformation and operational capabilities.

Following the opening session, participants explored an exhibition space and attended a series of briefings covering subjects highly relevant to NATO’s mission. Presentations from Spanish companies throughout the day addressed advancements in satellite communications, secure connectivity, governmental and military satellite service models, C4ISR tools supporting mission-critical decision-making, secure and encrypted communications, spectrum management, interoperability within NATO environments and a variety of emerging technologies shaping the future of defence.

In the afternoon, representatives from the CESTIC General Directorate provided a dedicated presentation followed by a question-and-answer session and additional networking. The event concluded with briefings delivered by experts from the NCIA’s Industry Relations team, Chief Technology Office, Procurement and Acquisition, offering participants insight into the Agency’s priorities, capability development processes and opportunities for future collaboration.

This industry event is part of the NCIA’s ongoing effort to foster strong partnerships with national industries across the Alliance. By bringing together technology providers and NATO experts, the Agency continues to encourage innovation, strengthen interoperability and support the Alliance’s digital backbone as it adapts to new operational and technological demands.
