“As the Alliance speeds up defence production and innovation, it’s critical that NATO’s enabling agencies are aligned. NCIA and NSPA are committed to the focused coordination we need to deliver more coherent, resilient, and timely capabilities to the Alliance,” stated NCIA General Manager, Dr Dylan Browne.
"The NCIA-NSPA Partnership Board reflects our shared commitment to operational excellence and the efficient delivery of capabilities across the Alliance. By working closely with NCIA, we ensure that NATO’s enabling agencies are aligned, maximizing our collective impact - whether in cyber resilience, logistics, or support to Ukraine. Our focus today was on further streamlining efforts to meet the Alliance’s needs today and in the future,” stated NSPA General Manager, Stacy Cummings.
This partnership board marked the first under Dr Browne’s leadership since his appointment in December 2025, underscoring continuity in the strategic relationship between the two agencies while setting the tone for future cooperation.
Discussions focused on areas of mutual interest with potential for future collaboration including cloud initiatives and sustained support to Ukraine. Both leaders emphasized the importance of leveraging their complementary roles to accelerate delivery and provide more integrated solutions to the Alliance.
Both Agencies play an important role in enabling NATO capabilities: NCIA delivers NATO’s principal C4ISR* capabilities and serves as communication and information systems (CIS) provider, while NSPA is the lead organization for multinational acquisition, support and sustainment to NATO Nations.
The NCIA-NSPA Partnership Board provides a framework to strengthen cooperation, enhance coordination and ensure both agencies are aligned in delivering effective and coherent support to NATO’s mission and strategic priorities.
