On the first day, Agency Heads engaged in discussions on common operational and organizational challenges. The meeting allowed leaders to share best practices, explore synergies, and identify opportunities for deeper collaboration in support of NATO's collective objectives.
On day two, leaders participated in an industry engagement with a guided tour hosted by Airbus Defence and Space (ADS) at its facilities. The visit underscored the importance of public-private partnership in delivering advanced capabilities to the Alliance.
“It was a pleasure to host this meeting with fellow heads of the different NATO Agencies. It was a valuable opportunity to come together, discuss openly the challenges we ae facing, and exchange best practices that are helping our teams thrive. I’m grateful for the openness, energy, and expertise everyone brought to the table, and excited about what we can achieve as we continue to work together,” said Simon Ellard, NETMA General Manager and host of the session.
“This meeting was an opportunity to share our thoughts on challenges and opportunities in time of strategic change. The event served as a helpful reminder of the critical role NATO Agencies play in supporting the Alliance,” said Ludwig Decamps, NCIA General Manager.
The two-day event marked the first official meeting bringing together the Heads of NATO Agencies, setting a precedent for continued collaboration and strategic alignment.
