NATO Mission in Iraq

NATO Mission Iraq is a non-combat advisory and capacity-building mission established in October 2018 at the request of the Iraqi government. The mission helps Iraq build transparent, inclusive and effective security institutions and forces, enabling them to stabilise their country, fight terrorism and prevent the return of ISIS/Daesh.

NCIA supports this mission by deploying CIS infrastructure in close coordination with JFC Naples. We provide 24/7 reach-back support for all services, maintaining operational continuity and the delivery of mission-critical capabilities. Our technical expertise has supported key mission activities, including technical support to nationwide public opinion surveys that provided insights into the mission context during a volatile period for the region.
