Companies were asked to submit proposals focused on applications that the Space Centre can use for situational awareness. The qualifiers will pitch their solutions on 17 June 2021 during NITEC Connect, the Agency's virtual industry conference.
The top qualifiers are:
Major General Karsten Stoye, Chief of Staff, Allied Air Command said: "It is outstanding to have so many proposals from space industry companies to support the ongoing development of our Alliance's space situational awareness. I am looking forward to hearing from the successful qualifiers during the NATO Space Pitch Day in June."
A team of panellists from the NATO Space Centre, the NATO Headquarters Situation Centre (NATO HQ SITCEN) and the NCI Agency assessed all 45 entries for innovation, impact, and feasibility.
