ACT and NCIA both support NATO by providing digital solutions and cutting edge technology to strengthen the Alliance’s digital transformation and foster innovation. The day’s discussions highlighted areas of collaboration and cooperation for the future.
“The biggest challenge facing NCIA, is the need to bridge the gap between increasing demand and available capacity,” explained NCIA General Manager, Ludwig Decamps. “ACT’s support to prioritize requests across NATO is essential in achieving this goal.”
The agenda included visits to three of the NCIA’s on-site labs: Command and Control, Air Command and Control, and Exploiting Data Science and AI. Later, the VIP guests toured the NATO Software Factory, which is set to evolve into the NATO Digital Foundry, a transformational initiative outlined in the NCIA Technology Strategy.
Further conversations delved into NCIA’s activities in the space domain, cloud adoption and business continuity efforts, highlighting ongoing initiatives to enhance NATO’s operational resilience.
As a key partner supporting ACT’s lines of development across areas such as defence planning, space and cloud adoption, NCIA welcomed the opportunity to further strengthen the collaborative partnership with ACT. Together, they drive NATO’s interoperability and operational effectiveness, reinforcing NATO’s defence and deterrence posture.
