NCIA’s Communications and Information Systems Support Units (CSUs) in Bydgoszcz, Poland, and Izmir, Türkiye, established a fully federated multi-domain IT ecosystem, offering classified, interconnected systems to enhance digital coordination for participating units.
Located in close proximity to the Joint Force Training Centre, CSU Bydgoszcz was instrumental in integrating digital environment and ensuring interoperability among exercise participants. The team provided essential service desk functions and multi-level technical support, ensuring over 2,000 end-user devices remained operational throughout the exercise.
As the primary support unit for NATO’s Allied Land Command (LANDCOM), CSU Izmir ensured secure and resilient communication networks, directly supporting LANDCOM’s ability to conduct large-scale operational planning and execution. Their expertise kept multi-domain operations interconnected, reinforcing NATO’s capacity to respond rapidly and effectively in a dynamic security environment.
“Loyal Leda 25 is more than just a test of our operational capabilities, it is a demonstration of NATO’s unwavering commitment to deterrence and defence,” stated Major Derek Aubin, Staff Officer at NCIA Operations and Exercises. “This exercise pushes us to refine our multi-domain operations, enhance interoperability, and ensure we are prepared to respond decisively in defence of the Alliance”.
As one of NATO’s most significant training events, Loyal Leda 25, highlights the continued cohesion,
vigilance, and strategic preparedness of the Alliance. The exercise is conducted under Allied Land Command, and directed under Joint Force Training Centre, while plans are being supported through NATO Rapid Deployable Corps and Multinational Corps South-East.
