NCIA engages with industry at TechNet International


On 7 June 2024, NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) Chief of Acquisition Jennifer Upton spoke at the TechNet International conference organized by AFCEA Belgium in Brussels, briefing on how to engage, collaborate and do business with NATO.


The NCIA Chief of Acquisition shared information and practical advice on procurement and acquisition, business and engagement opportunities for industry, useful online links and resources, and information on the upcoming NCIA flagship conference NATO Edge.

"To broaden and deepen our supply base, NATO needs industry's talent, ideas and products," affirmed Upton during her presentation. "Strengthening and widening our relationship with industry will bring new dynamic ways to source, scale and surge the digital solutions connecting and protecting NATO."

The two-day event, titled 'Support Operational Readiness and Be Disruptive: New Imperatives for C5ISR Technologies in NATO and the EU,' assembled representatives from IT, defence and cybersecurity companies as well as academia, governments, EU institutions and NATO to network and exchange insights on evolving requirements and future solutions in the defence domain. By participating and presenting at industry events, NCIA demonstrates its commitment to ensure NATO maintains its competitive and technological edge.
