NCI Agency welcomes Finland, NATO's newest Ally


Finland officially joined NATO today, becoming the Alliance's 31st Member.

Finland's historic accession is the fastest accession process in NATO history, and it took place on 4 April 2023, the anniversary of NATO's formation.

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) has been preparing to enable Finland to operate as a full member of the Alliance since 5 July 2022, when NATO Allies signed Finland's Accession Protocol. NCI Agency experts are ready to provide the necessary technology and communications and information systems needed to connect the newest NATO Member Nation with the rest of the Alliance.

The Agency and its experts stand by to provide and install secure capabilities and deployable systems for both NATO and Finland.
