The NCI Agency is pleased to announce that this year's flagship industry conference, NITEC18, will discuss NATO's digital transformation and the Alliance's emerging technological and cyber needs.
The three-day industry conference, which is organized with AFCEA Europe (Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association) and in collaboration with the German Ministry of Defence, will be held in Berlin from 22 to 24 May 2018.
"NITEC18 – NATO's Digital Endeavour: Expanding the Ecosystem" will offer a unique opportunity to discuss how the private sector, think-tanks, academia and the NCI Agency can work together to leverage new-generation information technologies to advance the Alliance into the digital future.
The event will bring together over 600 senior government, military and industry leaders, as well as defence and security experts.
The conference will feature interactive events to deepen the cooperation between NATO, Allies, academia, technology hubs and commercial technology companies (including start-ups, entrepreneurs, and Small and Medium Enterprises).
These events will also provide NATO with greater access to leading edge commercial technologies and technical talent.
Keynote speeches held on Day 1 will offer an overview of where NATO and the Agency are headed in the next 18 months in the areas of IT modernization, missile defense, Air Command and Control (AirC2), cyber security, intelligence, etc.
Designated CEOs and high-profile guests will provide inspirational presentations on their experiences with major digital transformations in the public and private sectors and stimulate new perspectives.
As in previous years, the conference will also provide a platform for extensive practical engagement between the Agency and industry to discuss capability priorities and technological solutions needed to support NATO's mission, and to present upcoming business opportunities.
